  It's very pathetic that inspite of it being the most reliable alternative source of power, Solar Energy is unfortunately above the reach of commoners in oil-rich Nigeria. Our industries, small scall business and petty business are in a comatose. Pls make it affordable to over 160 million Nigerians.

  There are two methods to generate electricity from solar energy. They're photovoltaic and solar thermal. Photovoltaic's material and its process push the price higher than solar thermal which is only need mirror and boiler. The last method seems to be the right choice for developing countries. So I think it'll be better if Nigeria use solar thermal rather than PV.
